He is a talented empath and always quick to tune in to how others are feeling. He may not always be the smartest dragonet on the block, but his intuition is very good.
He is good at wordplay and intuiting others' meanings.
Weaknesses:
He is very vain. His head will be turned by compliments and (after hatching) will be distracted by mirrors or other admirers.
He's not lazy per se but he enjoys idling around and may need a nudge to get on with things.
How does he interact:
He is interested in others and enjoys play and social contact. He likes to get a response - and isn't really fussed about soothing others' anxieties. So he may poke and poke until he gets swatted.
He will show off and make a big performance of things when there is a ready audience.

Generally loves strong emotions and enjoys losing himself in them, except he dislikes being angry to the point of losing control and will try very hard to avoid that. He is an absolute champ at emoting self-indulgent sadness.

Is drawn to people who are emotionally open. If you feel things with your whole heart, he understands and is interested to know more.
Adores being admired. If anyone admires him, he will be onto them like white on rice, preening and showing off (congrats, you have a new fan!)
Are there any assumptions others would make about them, particularly from outside the clutch?
People will likely underestimate his insight. It isn't JUST about the posing and performing.
The shell of this medium egg, sitting in the sands at a jaunty but stable angle, has the shiny patina of waxed, well seasoned wood. The predominant color is a warm reddish-brown, shading to deepest shadows at the base and paler at the top. The solidity of the deep and opaque colour is deceptive, a close look reveals that this eggshell looks thinner than many of the others, and almost translucent at the tip. There are ridges and grooves further down, maybe a finger width apart, which almost resemble a face if viewed from the right angle.
The eggshell reflects the light and any movement in the cavern or the face of anyone who comes close, but there's something about the reflections that isn't quite true. Elongated and distorted, yes, but with details that imply hidden depths, whispered secrets, and shadows moving out of sight.
It would be so very easy to be drawn into interacting with this egg, watching the reflections and shadows play across the surface in response to movements from outside, that one could just forget ...
Updates after the earthquake
This medium sized egg is a survivor. One side is clearly flattened from having been pressed into the ground or against another egg during the earthquake, before it had hardened enough to resist such distortion. The flatter side has grains of sand embedded so deeply into it that they could not be removed without threatening the integrity of the shell.
The colour is a rich mahogany with an almost reflective sheen on the parts that were less damaged. The shell itself looks intact.
His Voice:This voice has an echo (an echo... echo... cho... oo...), like ripples from a disturbance in cool, quiet waters.
The ripples carry shadows of moving shapes, patterns, sounds of words. Later, with more sensory input from the outer world, his mindvoice will be more of a kaleidoscope of colours and pattern, very sensitive to those around it.
But for now, just ripples on the water's surface. A sense of space. A lake in an underground cave. The taste of cold stone. Damp moss. Darkness. Quiet. Ripples in the water.
Liorenth has a quality of being able to project clearly with large dynamic range. He doesn't shout, he doesn't need to.
