This voice has an echo (an echo... echo... cho... oo...), like ripples from a disturbance in cool, quiet waters.

The ripples carry shadows of moving shapes, patterns, sounds of words. Later, with more sensory input from the outer world, his mindvoice will be more of a kaleidoscope of colours and pattern, very sensitive to those around it.

But for now, just ripples on the water's surface. A sense of space. A lake in an underground cave. The taste of cold stone. Damp moss. Darkness. Quiet. Ripples in the water.
