This baby is a drama queen/ king! (Tending to prefer he, as time goes on.)

Strengths:
He is a talented empath and always quick to tune in to how others are feeling. He may not always be the smartest dragonet on the block, but his intuition is very good.
He is good at wordplay and intuiting others' meanings.

Weaknesses:
He is very vain. His head will be turned by compliments and (after hatching) will be distracted by mirrors or other admirers.
He's not lazy per se but he enjoys idling around and may need a nudge to get on with things.
Can struggle with decision making if a swift decision is needed because he can get lost in detail.

How does he interact:
He is interested in others and enjoys play and social contact. He likes to get a response - and isn't really fussed about soothing others' anxieties. So he may poke and poke until he gets swatted.
He will show off and make a big performance of things when there is a ready audience.

Generally loves strong emotions and enjoys losing himself in them, except he dislikes being angry to the point of losing control and will try very hard to avoid that. He is an absolute champ at emoting self-indulgent sadness.

Is drawn to people who are emotionally open. If you feel things with your whole heart, he understands and is interested to know more.
Adores being admired. If anyone admires him, he will be onto them like white on rice, preening and showing off (congrats, you have a new fan!)

People will likely underestimate his insight. It isn't JUST about the posing and performing.
