The pressure was missing. While usually so omnipresent- It was now gone seemingly without a trace. It rebelled against Its absence; it was cold. It cried out in a voiceless tone, unreachable to anyone, incapable of genuinely voicing its intention of wanting the lack, the ceaseless emptiness, to stop, for It to come back. The lack of grounding feeling made It feel as if It was falling through time and space; Like rain from a cloud, parts of itself torn away in a vicious cycle that was as cruel as it was natural.

The eternity of Its absence is cut short only by the presence of Its return. It coated Its awareness coating their fledging sense of mind-link like honey, calming their frantic anxiety with its consistent thrum. It flung the yet-developing emotions it experienced at the thrum, hoping it would not leave them again. As the thrumming remained consistent it continued to allow itself to settle.
