The consideration of bonding only makes him grow weary and cranky. With all of these new perspectives, it was still so infuriating to not even find one unwilling to bond, unwilling to even speak of how they changed their mind when it comes to bonding - if they ever did, of course. Pertemarth and Mother were always there, always a comfort. Even if Myrcelleth doesn’t pay attention to their words, they pay attention to their actions. The gentle support of Mother’s back. The consideration in Pertemarth’s voice, the worry, the politeness. The love between them.

This was something Myrcelleth would never grow weary of, even if they only half paid attention to what was being said, something about scratching an itch and Flight again. They didn’t mind. They knew it would be the same as it always was, the respect between them, needing not words but still having them anyway. Maybe having a bond mate like Pertemarth, like Mother, would be best, though he wasn’t sure.

They were beyond lovely but Myrcelleth would not aim to replicate perfection. Instead, perhaps simply taking some traits would be best. After all, checking in on them would be necessary now that Myrcelleth knew the bounds of their own anger, their own fear. It scared them still. They hoped their bond mate would be okay with this. Or better still, they hoped that they never had to worry about it at all - their green siblings would be a simple and clean answer to all of that. They were all Myrcelleth needed.
