Sigil listened, rocking themself in the confines of the shell.
Greens and Blues could… but not Golds. Sigil knew Mother was Gold from the dreaming. Mother should not be sad, should not be attached.
Gold should be aloof, held apart? That didn’t seem right. Mother was very WITH them. Pertemarth was WITH Mother.
Greens could claim, but Golds could not? Or was it claiming improper for everyone?
Pertemarth was Blue. Pertemarth could pine? Pertemarth could claim? It didn’t make sense to Sigil.
Neither did wingriding being deadly. There was something missing. Something they weren’t saying where the eggs could hear them. Was it on purpose? Was it something only blues did?
But not Golds?
