2024-07-19 - Seven seconds with The Empress

Xlyoth feels the minds of the candidates as they pass. Of the first five, only one really catches her interest.

One concerned with hope and promise. One who is less concerned with what she wants or what he thinks he deserves.

Sigil puts out a tendril of thought, hoping to attract The Empress to her side, so that she might know more about this one, this “she” who has the future of others in her mind as duty, with her own needs coming second.

She needs a love, Xlyoth decides. A partner upon whom she can trust fully. But not a gold. She wants to have someone to look up to, despite being in a position of authority among the young hopefuls.

Maybe she would want a flashy blue or a green?

She didn’t stay long enough, but her touch gave Xlyoth hope.
