Justice
So many things had to have gone right in her life for her to think this way. She seemed… sheltered. Not naive, not ignorant. Willfully blind to the way of the world and her natural law. Thread was the very definition of her fears. What would she do when she had to face it?

Temperance
Finally, someone with some resilience! Talking with the man was a breath of fresh air, yet, still… wasn’t the pressure warranted, at least in some way? They were to be the only thing between Pern and Thread, after all…

Strength
Okay – this one was a tad cute. Maybe it was the vulnerability, the openness. She got the feeling he wouldn’t ever pretend to be something he wasn’t. And he had survived, and was proud of the fact. She brushed up against his hand with the barest touch.
