2024-07-13 - Hell is Boredom

Haozieth was beginning to see the shape of things now. These new people were here to meet them, for both sides to maybe find someone they would love and be loved by the way Mother had the tiny little human that echoed her fears for the clutch.

No sooner had this thought sank in than a new mind came to touch his. She brushed a hand over his shell, letting him into her mind and he fell in love.

This one was bright and shone like a gem in his mind. Her touch didn't inspire outrage but interest.

"You should have a proper dress! One in bright colors with a full skirt for dancing! I have never danced before but I would learn! We could dance and sing and fly all over Pern, together! And we can find all the best gowns, all the most beautiful sights! And we will never be bored again!"

He would love this bright flame of a girl to be his partner if it meant learning and seeing new things together!
