2024-07-09 - Naming of an Omen

Omen was torn. There was a lot of thinking to do about this "name" business.

As others called out their names, Omen was working their way through all of the words they had learned, all of the sounds they knew that suited them. When one would present a name, the other would disagree. It didn't suit them in the slightest.

This continued, and Omen was very late amongst their peers to find their name, perhaps even the last of them.

It came down to a combination of a bolt of pure inspiration out of the blue, and simple compromise. One wanted Muth. The other, Xiaoth. And so, they were Muxiaoth.

'We are Muxiaoth.', they called, proudly. Finally.
