Issrodeth, much like Pycgloith, is dead.
That's what Neath thinks, anyways. Its strained mind cannot reach the humans or dragons around it any longer - it returns to a state where Mother and siblings are all it knows and feels no relief for it. It's tired, too tired to fully comprehend what Gwillanth thinks of, but it catches bits and pieces. Other Weyrs. Turns, decades, territory, a Pass - concepts it hasn't tried to comprehend before. Its usual reassurance that things will make sense in their own time is absent: it now knows how limited that time is and how easily it is cut short.
Is this what Gwillanth worries about with Pertemarth? Is this what Misogauth said the Harper's songs were about? Is Gwillanth worried about the deaths of others now, as well? It tries to reach out and offer comfort, but whatever thoughts it sends her way are faint enough to barely be noticeable.
It's too tired.
