Blue and white, shining and endless. Wind underneath wings, the pumping of blood and breath.

It was the first time the Child had understood why she was here. What soon promised her, in her awful confinement and boredom

The sky! Endless and forever! It was all she wanted. Soon indeed! Somewhen, somehow, she would be free, able to explore that expanse, never to be stuck in the endless wait of her prison again!

Greedily, the Child tucked herself close to her mother's mind, a small shadow, searching for the light of the sun
