Discovering the concept of a physical form was not a concept that Omen was particularly excited about. It meant many things about them that they were not interested in having be true. They were separate from mother in yet another way. They were going to have to interact with the others in a way that was not words at some point, and that was unpleasant. But figuring out where the facets of We started and ended, where and how We work.... Omen was not happy. Would that the holding warmth of what mother called an egg never broke, that Omen would always be as content and happy with words just how they were now.

Omen was kept from any kind of mental rest by the concern that We might not be We but somehow... different. Omen wanted to be exactly how they thought of themselves, thank you. This physical form was... unnecessary, and Omen wasn't interested. Take it back.
