Gwillanth's restlessness isn't quite making Moss restless, but it is making it think. If Gwillanth could lose this other she was so very fond of, could the other presences it is fond of leave too? Forever? What is forever? Given the weight Mother had put on it, it's serious. Moss anxiously reaches out to whoever is nearby, trying to soothe itself - and, possibly, soothe them too.

mother's absences have been less alarming, as its sense of her grows clearer and stronger. even away, she feels close, the cloud of her mind always banked low, close to the curve of its own

but with such closeness, now her worries and fears (and such fears! it shrinks away from the dangerous what-if held inside) settle over it and cling close until they become its own

an absence without a return? that can happen? worse still, it can be expected? it does not want to expect to lose anything or anyone!

the urgent sense of another egg with these same worries reflects them back, now looming even larger and closer

The void the person-egg exists in is alive and Circuits hates it. Mostly, it hates the reason for it. That Warm-Mother is be effected so much by all that...sistraction is yet another tick in the box proving all that sappy emotion is unnecessary. The 'blue' – the concept as a colour is strange, when it also clearly a person or a marking or a – being gone should be a chance for rest and instead Warm-Mother is making everything feel wrong.

Wrong enough that Others start talking.

'Shush,' it admonishes. 'Why worried? Speak clearly. Talk through.' They are new Others, so it does not spark, only pressures. They will have new data.
