2024-06-20 - A Name!

The dream invades the shell of the egg and wraps it's inhabitant in visions of what was and will be.

Wings and an infinite clear blue sky to fly through were something that captivated the young mind. It wanted wings! It wanted to fly forever! The constant shift of the winds was fascinating. For a moment all irritation over not being special vanished and all became the dreams of flight!

It dove feeling the burn of wing beneath golden wings.
It did not like the golden color, it wanted wings like the Sky, but in the moment that didn't matter all that mattered was the dive. The clouds parted and revealed the ground far below, even more colors impressed themselves on its young mind and it latched onto them in a heartbeat. The greens and browns of the world below captivated it.
And then just as it was about to see more details of the ground the dream ended and it snapped back to its reality but it took a great deal back with it.

Concepts it had never known reverberated in it's mind. Distance, color, time, flight, sky, ground! A word came it it and it latched onto it.

Miles

It meant distance, how far something was from something else. It likes the way it sounds and for now it serves as a way to distinguish itself from the other minds.
