2024-06-15 - Waking of Self

Mother could go away and come back, but Mother was the world. How could something not be part of the world? What could exist beyond the world? The concept was impossible for several repetitions of Mother leaving and returning, but a new, baffling idea began to grow. Mother was not the whole of the world; there was something else. There was another; they were another.

It is a surprise, but a welcome one. They are not the same as Mother; this is confirmation of a feeling that had been growing in them since Mother started leaving and returning. It no longer seems as strange for Mother to want to leave and return. Sometimes they wanted their own space; Mother must want that sometimes too. They feel more relaxed with the knowledge that despite the vastness of her presence, Mother wants her own space too.
