There once was an egg in the sand,
Who came to discover something quite grand
There is more than the egg
This the question does beg
How much more could its world expand?

Slowly at first, it twists and wriggles
The joy of movement sparking sweet giggles
A twist and a turn
So much still to learn!
Grains of sand disturbed by the wiggles.

Near-far; here-there; up-down; left-right,
Feelings new and strange come to light
The shell safe, how it holds
Yet as sensation unfolds
It longs for wings unknown to take flight.
