Omen is a small, rather round egg. While the majority of the shell is primarily a bright pink color, it has striations of a deeper magenta starting at about one third of the way down the shell and becoming more frequent and bolder further down the shell. The effect looks surprisingly like a sunrise or sunset in a striking pink-red. If one were to run their fingers along the shell, the darker pink markings seem to be raised from the lighter pink sections, as though they were added after, or perhaps as if the lighter pink sections stretched farther, and were thinner, than the darker sections. In fact, the shell itself seems thinner in the lighter sections than the darker ones.

Given the rounded shape of the egg, the amount of weight to Omen shouldn't come as a surprise. Omen is a heavy egg. As such, it tends to be found lower in the sands than its brethren, as though it has chosen to roll down any hill that it is placed atop.
