2024-06-09 - Patchwork Description

Patchwork is a medium-sized egg made of three distinct color pallets; a deep forest green base, a center layer of dark brown and gold geometric lines around the center, and a dark teal top – all connected by jagged red 'stitching'. These layers are entirely visual, however. Patchwork is incredibly smooth and glossy to the touch without any physical or textural change across individual layers.

After Patchwork was laid it was surprisingly light, something that could almost effortlessly carried by even a child, and it hardened a little too narrow and rounded to be entirely stable once the dragon inside finally began to form. As a result Patchwork has needed to be settled deep in the sands to keep it from falling over.
