2024-06-08 - The Brief Touch of Respite

Only ever knowing the hanging, stifling heat of Mother's presence, there is a kindness in the universe that suddenly shakes the blanket of oppression, burping refreshment and calm into everything. What was once dark is light.

There is instead, in the place of an infinite mugginess, room to breathe and Be. Feelings of suffocation and frustrated discontent peel away like cooling ash blown apart by wind. There is found joy in this freedom, this glorious absence. Something like floating away in dreamy ethereal waters, unbound to the sand beneath it. Room to think and to discover at last, but oh...what's this? What was once light is dark again.

Mother returns. Sour feelings twist and stir inside. This one desperately clings to an unlocked sense of independence as it fades as the Great Warm of Mother settles in again like a fog. There is an intense and angry tension that consumes the egg.

May the universe lift Her overbearing weight again anytime, as soon as possible.
