2024-06-08 - Condolences to Mother

This egg is mostly yolk-gold, rich, warm and opaque. A caramel, coffee-blond hue dribbles over the topside of the egg and dabbles the shell like drizzled glaze. This utterly, uncomfortably large and rotund thing is arranged strictly upright in the sand; a noble pose for its softly pointed shell. It is a hefty, hulk of an egg without blemish or indent, though its shell has a gentle give, like leather. Its smooth softness is surely what allowed it to be passed.
