Is it the shape? Not too different from the others there. A bit longer. A bit thinner. A bit more oval.

The smoothness? That yes, that could be what sets it apart from the rest. Like the surface of still water, of glass, of a mirror. Gleaming and unblemished by crack or calcium deposit. One can almost see their face...

But what of the colors? Vibrant and heavily saturated pinks and amethysts form an alien sky, lit by the intense rays of a hot blue sun peeking through the murky blotches of deep violet clouds. A scene plucked from the wildest of dreams.

All of it together enticing visitors to notice the little egg, to look, to touch...
