An inescapable presence, on all sides, and everywhere. Mother cradles, but she is a heavy, burdensome shadow that for all her life-giving warmth deceives and obscures. What Mother hides is an unknown, but oh what wild, magnificent wonders there must be in the unknown. Held in love and held back from living, tethered and bound. To shake this anchoring presence, to Become, to feel the fresh and new opposite of what is always stifling and warm. Imagine, and in imagining where new colorful thoughts whirl, the idea floats in of escape, of relief. Breaking away to beyond--to discover, to learn, to experience. Mother is as tiresome as she is secretly inspiring. How curious it is, that Mother is the All and Everything, how powerful that must feel.

Trapped, stowed away, stitched into place while Mother hovers and overwhelms. No more, no more! Tear, pull, unwind! Onward to be the great thing that looms, to be as ever-present, consuming, and utterly undeniable.
