2024-06-01 - Winds of Change in Paradise

Endless.

Drifting weightlessness in warmth. No fear or misery or pain, just the perpetual bliss of a being on the cusp of consciousness in a state of everything being right.

A child safe in the embrace of its loving mother, unaware that it must be protected or of the trials she goes through in ensuring its safety.

For now all is as it should be, but no perfection is forever. The egg itself is growing, changing, and though this shall eventually cost it the contentment of its current state, like a butterfly emerging from a chrysalis, it will become something much more than this mere colorful shell could ever hope to be.

For now though, the hazy awareness slips away again, back into dreams.
